10 Educational Websites !

Welcome! Check out these TEN educational websites that can be used in your future classrooms!

1) The website BrainPOP has access to all subject areas for students to get extra help. It is also a great Internet source for teachers to show there students a lesson on a particular subject that day. There are great science video explanation's so the students get a better understanding. BrainPOP

2) IXL is a website for Math and Language Arts K-12. You are able to click on any grade and there are so many math skills for that particular grade. If you click on one of the topic areas it gives you so many multiple choice questions to help practice those skills. Parents can use this website to have their child practice if they are younger or older students can use this site to practice before an exam. If the users answer a question wrong then it gives you a full explanation what the correct answer is. http://www.ixl.com/



3) This site allows a teacher to search a subject and grade level to find fun activities and lesson plans for the class. I would use these as another activity the student can work on if they finish the work they were working on. lesson plans



4) This website is useful for the subject you're going to be teaching and the standards of what you should be teaching your class in Michigan. You can also see what is going on with the state board of Michigan. Michigan Department of Education



5) This site is a great way for teachers to sell there items that they have used before. There is also a link called "see what's free" and this allows anyone to download a digital copy of certain activities that can be very useful for classroom activities. Teachers Pay Teachers ! 

 
 
6) I was just searching for math games and came across this website.
It's a fun way for kids to practice their math and have fun at the same
time. I think having games for math can help the students focus more
and learn math. I feel they can become more comfortable with
math by playing games. If anyone is majoring or minoring in language arts
there is also a section for reading. Fun Brain


 
7) This website is very useful for science activities or experiments. There is also a tab where you can see cool things in the news. There are a lot of tabs to explore science and animals on here. National Geographic
